I'm Rishab. I work as a Senior Software Engineer at Amazon in London. Moved here mostly because I wanted to be close to Europe — cheap flights and a new city every weekend sounded better than any other reason to relocate.
I started this site because I wanted to share things without dealing with algorithms and like counts. No Instagram, no LinkedIn posts — just a page I own where I can write at whatever pace I want.
Outside of work, I cook a lot. All kinds of stuff, but lately I've been on a baking kick — cookies and tiramisu are the current obsession. I'm also trying to move from long-term investing to swing trading, which mostly means I'm learning expensive lessons in real time.
On January 6 this year I booked a half marathon as a new year's resolution before I could talk myself out of it. I ran it on April 4 — 2:07:47, eight minutes under my target. Wrote about it here.
